WILLIAMSBURG — Tickets are now available for Grove Christian Outreach Center’s Roaring Twenties Gala on Nov. 2 at Colonial Heritage Club.
The black-tie optional gala will feature an evening of dinner, a live auction, paddle raise, and a special performance by the popular swing band Good Shot Judy.
The event will celebrate two decades of Grove Christian Outreach Center’s work in providing critical services and support to families and individuals in the Greater Williamsburg area.
Funds raised through the gala will support the center’s ongoing programs, including food distribution, financial assistance, and other essential services aimed at empowering the local community.
In 2023, a total of 575 unique households were served through the Outreach Center’s pantry a total of 8,530 times, and a total of 31,901 people benefited through various programs.
“We are thrilled to celebrate this incredible milestone with the Roaring Twenties Gala,” said Katie Patrick, Executive Director of Grove Christian Outreach Center. “For 20 years, we’ve been able to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most, thanks to the generosity of our donors, volunteers, and partners. This gala is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come and raise funds to ensure we continue serving for many more years.”
Guests are encouraged to dress in 1920s-themed attire to fully immerse themselves in the spirit of the evening, which promises to be both elegant and fun.
Highlights of the night will include a expertly curated dinner menu, an exciting live auction with exclusive items, a paddle raise to fund Outreach Center programs, and lively entertainment provided by Good Shot Judy, known for their captivating performances that transport audiences back to the big band era.
