WILLIAMSBURG — The William & Mary Board of Visitors will hold its annual planning and training retreat for members July 23-25.
The retreat will be held in both Gloucester Point and Williamsburg, according to the university.
Schedule of events:
- On Tuesday, July 23, at 6:30 p.m., the Board will meet for dinner to welcome new members at Opus 9 in New Town.
- On Wednesday, July 24, the Board will convene at 8:30 a.m., in Hargis Library of Watermen’s Hall at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS). Meetings at that location are expected to end around 10:50 a.m., followed by a welcome event and a seafood feast for lunch.
- At 2:30 pm, the Board will reconvene in the Ford classroom at Swem Library on the main William & Mary campus. Meetings at that location will conclude around 4:45 p.m.
- At 6 p.m., the Board will meet for a reception followed by a dinner, both to be held at the Alumni House.
- On Thurs. July 25, Board meetings will resume at 8:45 a.m. in the Ford Classroom at Swem Library. Those meetings, including a working lunch, are scheduled to conclude at 2 p.m.
The university notes that all times are approximate, and the Board reserves the right to adjust its schedule as necessary.
The meetings are open to the public, but William & Mary notes there will be no opportunity for public comment.
