WILLIAMSBURG — Part beagle, part foxhound and all attitude, Ferris Bueller (no, not THAT Bueller but, definitely named after the 80s icon) is a one-year-old pup who loves to head out on adventures and explore new places and meet people.
Ferris loves to visit parks, beaches, breweries and any other places where doggies are allowed. WYDaily is set to follow Ferris’ quest for the best dog-friendly places our area has to offer.
One cool day in March, Ferris happily jumped in the car to head to Doggo Den. Owned by Erinn Loren, this small little dog groomer is tucked away on Ironbound Road behind the Fresh Market.
Doggo Den is approaching its two-year anniversary and will be expanding the space later this year. Loren understands the importance of staying up to date on proper safety and specialized training certifications.
The welcoming atmosphere is apparent when you arrive and Ferris waltzed right in, tail wagging with approval to get a nail trim. (We recommend you make an appointment at Doggo Den but, Loren along with her staff, Diana Butler and Grace Parsons, also provide free nail trims to the community at The Nautical Dog every month!)
If you have a dog-friendly suggestion you would like Ferris to consider visiting, please email his mom. Hounds are not very good at responding.
