Heading into spring, the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce a wide variety of engaging programs to promote professional development, legislative involvement, and building relationships in our community.
Up next, the Chamber will host the 2023 Post-Session Legislative Forum on Wednesday, March 15th at the Williamsburg Regional Library. The event is presented by Principle Advantage Government Relations Group, and it will begin promptly at 8 AM. The Forum will focus on the 2023 Virginia General Assembly Session and specific policy matters related to the Chamber’s Legislative Priorities. Register to attend the Forum for free.
The ASPIRE Young Professionals are looking forward to hosting the first ASPIRE Symposium on Thursday, March 16th from 9 AM to 1 PM at William & Mary. Sponsored by the Raymond A. Mason School of Business, the Symposium will feature a light breakfast, keynote presentation, two professional development sessions, networking, a panel discussion, and lunch. The engaging line-up of speakers and session topics are curated to help local young professionals grow in their careers and form valuable connections. Chamber members can register for $25 online.
Coming up, the Chamber is thrilled to present the Annual Gala on Saturday, March 25th at the William & Mary Alumni House. Join us at 6:30 PM for An Evening in Old Hollywood, fit with a walk down the red carpet, a welcome reception with cocktails and live music, dinner, and dancing. The Gala will also showcase a silent auction to benefit the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce Foundation, which supports Pathways2Careers and educational programming. Sponsorships, tickets, and tables are currently available online for Chamber members and the community.
The Women’s Business Council will host a spring Bingo Night at Two Rivers Country Club on Thursday, March 30th from 4 to 6 PM. Sponsored by A Working Home, the evening will feature bingo, appetizers, one drink ticket for beer or wine, a cash bar, and prizes for bingo winners. Tickets are $30 for Chamber members, and you can register online to attend.
The Chamber has announced its next travel destination: Portugal! October 22nd through 29th, the Chamber will be traveling through Porto, Coimbra, Tomar, and Lisbon, and more on a deluxe, eight-day tour. The cost includes roundtrip international airfare and tax, luxury hotel accommodations, daily breakfast and three dinners, local tour guides, and entrance fees to attractions.
