Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce to Bring Back Signature Gala with ‘An Evening in Old Hollywood’

The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Gala on Saturday, March 25th at the William & Mary Alumni House.

The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of its signature Gala on Saturday, March 25th from 6:30 to 10 PM at the William & Mary Alumni House. The theme, “An Evening in Old Hollywood,” will bring vintage, cinematic glamour to Williamsburg!

This black-tie optional affair will feature a walk down the red carpet; a welcome reception with cocktails, photo ops, and live piano; a delicious dinner; and lively dancing.

Dinner will include a two-course plated meal, three champagne toasts, and a decadent dessert bar. Gala attendees will also enjoy music from 504 Supreme, a high energy, talented ensemble that takes the art of live music entertainment back to its roots. Drawing from traditional Blues, New Orleans Jazz, and Las Vegas Swing, 504 Supreme will have us dancing the night away. Listen to the band online to get inspired.

Silent Auction

The Gala will also showcase a silent auction to benefit the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce Foundation, which supports Pathways2Careers and educational programming.

Coordinated by the Chamber’s Education Committee, Pathways2Careers connects local high school and high-school-level homeschool students with businesses in greater Williamsburg. Students tour a variety of local businesses, showcasing lucrative career paths and establishing lifelong industry connections.

Business Partners for the 2022-2023 program include the Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, Dominion Energy, Henderson, Inc., the City of Williamsburg, Colonial Williamsburg, and more.

Students in the program also learn valuable interview tips from program advisors, and students in grades 11 and 12 have the opportunity to interview for college or trade school scholarships. With the generosity of the Business Partners and education sponsors, there is no cost for students to participate in the program, and dinner is provided.

Gala Sponsorships

The Annual Gala is made possible through sponsor support. Sponsorship packages, many of which include tickets or reserved tables, are designed to put your organization in front of our local business community and its leaders. Browse sponsorship opportunities online, and direct any inquiries or in-kind requests to Lauren Moore, Senior Director of Communications & Events.
