Spoke & Art Hosting Event for the Royal Coronation

WILLIAMSBURG — The official website for the British Royal Family announced in October that the coronation for His Majesty The King will take place on May 6.

The ceremony will see King Charles III crowned alongside The Queen Consort, who will be known as Queen Camilla following the ceremony.

For those unable to hop the pond to witness the event at Westminster Abbey, Spoke & Art will be hosting a watch party on the big screen on the deck for the King’s Coronation starting at 6 a.m.

Festivities are planned all day, with live performances from noon-4 p.m. by Scott Varney.

“Come on out and enjoy all of the pomp and circumstance of a right royal event!” says Steve Rose, owner of Spoke & Art and Williamsburg’s unofficial British ambassador.

Spoke & Art says it will have British treats available for guests to purchase during the event. It also advised guests dress appropriately for chilly morning weather.
