WILLIAMSBURG — Midtown Row announced on April 25 that Grit Coffee would be joining the lineup of businesses in the shopping center.
According to the Grit Coffee website, the company opened its first coffee shop near the University of Virginia in 2008. Since then, the business has grown and expanded to seven shops, with an eighth opening soon in Richmond, as well as a roasting operation and e-commerce business.
Grit Coffee says it strives to establish relationships with farmers cultivating coffee beans from all over the world.
In addition to coffee, Grit Coffee sells brewing equipment, drinkware, and coffee-themed apparel. It also offers tea.
Grit Coffee will be located in the same building as Pedego Electric Bikes, Insomnia Cookies, and House of Seven.
