WILLIAMSBURG — Simon Malls, owner of the Premium Outlets in Williamsburg, has launched a new credit card in conjunction with Cardless and American Express.
According to a statement, the card enables eligible cardmembers to earn statement credits with eligible purchases made anywhere American Express cards are accepted.
There is no annual fee, late payment fee, or foreign transaction fee for card members.
The card offers a variety of benefits, including earning up to 5% back on eligible purchases made at participating retailers and up to 3% back on all other eligible purchases made at Simon destinations.
In addition, with each eligible purchase made with the card outside of a U.S. Simon location, cardmembers earn 1.5% back by completing an in-person contactless payment via Apple Pay or Google Pay, and 1% back on all other eligible purchases.
Members will also have access to American Express benefits, according to the statement.
At launch, participating retailers include JCPenney, Aéropostale, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Forever 21, Lucky Brand Jeans, Nautica, and Reebok, Online purchases at Gilt Groupe, Rue La La and Shop Premium Outlets also qualify.
Cardmembers can apply via their smartphone or a desktop web browser, and manage their account via the Cardless mobile app after approval. This includes the ability to access their virtual card number and make in-person purchases via Apple Pay and Google Pay. A physical card will arrive via postal mail.
