WILLIAMSBURG — CowanGates, a Richmond-based law firm announced that it will open a new branch at 439 W. Duke of Gloucester St.
CowanGates first opened for business in 1977 as a multi-practice firm, but its future Williamsburg branch will focus real estate law, including contract and closing negotiations, easement agreements, covenants as well as other real estate matters.
“As a third-generation real estate attorney, I am very excited about this opportunity to serve the Williamsburg region and bring our firm’s commitment to excellence to this community,” said Heath Gates, the branch’s principal attorney.
Williamsburg Mayor Doug Pons will be on hand as CowanGates hosts a ceremonial ribbon cutting at noon on March 16, followed by an open house.
