WILLIAMSBURG — Made, Co. is set to debut its first brick-and-mortar store at Midtown Row this summer.

Made, Co., which was founded by Williamsburg resident Holly Webb in 2017, is currently an online and pop-up retailer which is dedicated to selling fair trade, ethically-sourced products from all around the globe.

Items from home goods to clothing fill the pages of Made, Co.’s online store, with each piece noting where it was made and who made it.

On Made, Co.’s website, Holly states, “I wanted people to realize how connected we are and to shop in a way that honors our connectedness and celebrates the stories.”

Since its founding, Made, Co. has operated as both an online and pop-up presence around the Greater Hampton Roads area, including at Williamsburg’s 2nd Sundays Arts & Music Festival. Holly notes in an email with WYDaily that Made, Co.’s first pop-up was at Culture Café in 2017.

For Holly, opening a brick and mortar location has always been the dream, but she did not want to move too fast.

Earlier this month, Holly took to the company’s blog to announce that the brick and mortar shop she’d dreamed about since the inception of the company is set to come to fruition this summer at Midtown Row, located off of Monticello Ave.

In an email with WYDaily, Holly said, “Being able to open a shop in Williamsburg that invites people to shop meaningfully and in a way that honors the makers and celebrates their stories through fair and safe employment has been the dream, and now we can’t wait to open our doors at Midtown Row this summer!”
