VIRGINIA BEACH — The glitz, glamour, and excitement of high fashion is coming to Virginia Beach on Sept. 15 when the Town Center Fashion Show takes to the runway in Fountain Plaza.

The newest fall fashions will be on display as retailers such as Anthropologie, Ann Taylor LOFT, francesca’s, Free People, Men’s Wearhouse, Monkee’s of Virginia Beach, and more show off their latest styles.

For expecting mothers Destination Maternity will also be represented.

Accessories will be on display in the form of Boyer’s Diamonds, Bluemercury, and Modern Salon and Spa, while the stage will be adorned with the latest décor and home furnishing from West Elm.

For those who want fashionable pets, Mrs. Bones Bowtique is also taking part.

Kimberly Nickerson, program director for the Central Business District Association, said that while tickets to the event is free, seating needs to be reserved.

She said they usually have anywhere from 300-350 people in attendance and only 300 seats.
