Early birds may want to check out the new restaurant opening in New Town.

First Watch will be opening in New Town this year, according to a press release from real estate broker Cushman & Wakefield Thalhimer.

The daytime-only restaurant will take the place of Conte’s bike shop, near Bonefish Grill along Monticello Avenue. The restaurant will occupy roughly 4,200 square feet, with more outdoor seating for diners.

First Watch operates 240 restaurants nationally and is known for its made-to-order breakfast, brunch and lunch, according to the release.

The company’s hours are 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at most of their locations.

“We are excited about bringing our fresh approach to breakfast, brunch and lunch to Williamsburg, a community full of inspiring history with a dynamic culture made up of some of nation’s most hospitable people,” said Chris Tomasso, president of First Watch. “We’re looking forward to serving this growing community for years to come.”

A specific date for First Watch’s opening was not provided in the release.

Conte’s is being relocated to a bigger and more modern space at the corner of Courthouse Street and Center Street.

The release stated that two new restaurants are also expected to open on the same block as Conte’s, but did not reveal their names.

The U.S. Armed Forces recruiting offices near the location will also relocate on Center Street.

“It says a great deal about New Town Shops on Main to have First Watch join our great mix of tenants,” said Kelly Voss of Developers Realty. “It also bodes well to have existing tenants choose to expand their spaces.”
