Coffee and donut lovers in Williamsburg will soon have a new place to enjoy a pick-me-up at any hour of the day.
A new Dunkin Donuts will open its doors on Friday, June 16, according to a press release from the company.
The Dunkin Donuts is located next to Walgreens at the intersection of Richmond Road and Lafayette Street. Customers can access the Dunkin by the stop light at Richmond Road’s intersection with Mount Vernon Avenue.
The Dunkin will offer its full menu 24 hours a day. The new store will also offer free Wi-Fi, a drive-thru window, seating for 25 customers and a fireplace.
The new store will replace an old one just blocks down the street, near the intersection of Richmond Road and Bypass Road.
“It’s a brand-new store with an exciting array of new contemporary amenities, but our customers will still find the same great service they’ve always enjoyed on Richmond Road,” store owner Gregory Nigro said in the release. “I think our customers are going to love it.”
Nigro owns 26 Dunkin Donuts locations throughout Hampton Roads, Richmond and North Carolina. Roughly 20 people will be employed at the new Dunkin Donuts.
