WILLIAMSBURG一 The Williamsburg Farmers Market will welcome the Candy Raven, saying it’s “Virginia’s first mobile candy cart,” at the Aug. 8 market.
The Candy Raven is a sister business to Corvo Coffee, a full-service coffee cart catering service. The mobile candy cart will offer Swedish candy, a handful of locally made Virginia treats and fill-your-own treat bags. According to a social media post, the candies are made without artificial dyes.
The candy cart will appear at markets, festivals, weddings, corporate events, schools and private parties throughout Hampton Roads, according to an Instagram post.
“Corvo Coffee was inspired by my husband’s Italian roots, and we wanted to create something equally memorable that reflected my Swedish heritage. The Candy Raven lets us share the fun of authentic European, primarily Swedish, candy while creating an experience that brings out the kid in everyone,” said owner Abby Mahoney. “We can’t wait to introduce our community to something that’s both nostalgic, whimsical and uniquely ours.”
The soft launch will be at the Williamsburg Farmers Market located at 345 W. Duke of Gloucester St. Aug. 8 from 8 a.m. to noon and 2nd Sundays from 11 a.m to 4 p.m.
