Heritage Humane Society’s annual Make Par for Pets Golf Classic will be held at Kingsmill Resort on Friday, September 11. With the fundraising golf tournament coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, this year’s tournament will be dedicated to honoring first responders. HHS Executive Director Kim Laska spoke with 92.3 FM The Tide and shared that golfers of all skill levels can still register for the tournament. Community partners can also sign up for sponsorship opportunities, and funds raised by registrations and sponsorships will support Heritage’s mission to care for homeless pets in the Greater Williamsburg community. Laska also spoke about everything that comes with registration, including greens fees, use of the range, golf cart, hot breakfast sandwich, beer, and a buffet lunch. Listen here:
