HAMPTON ROADS — 92.3FM The Tide and Tradition Brewing Company (TBC) have partnered to create the Tide Brews & Good News Beer Series.
This quarterly collaboration will bring
TCB, Tide Radio and four charities together to help raise both awareness and funds as one dollar from each beer purchased in the TBC tap room will go to a local nonprofit. (The Tide and WYDaily are both owned by Local Daily Media).
“This is a great way to support local nonprofits and help them get the word out there. We are really excited about this opportunity to be able to provide great beer to the community for an incredible cause,” said Elisa Campana, marketing and events director for The Tide.
Kicking off the new beer series on July 21 was a Tropical Blonde Ale that will benefit VersAbility.
VersAbility helps the disabled community get new jobs and so much more.
“We are beyond thrilled to be collaborating with The Tide on the Tide Brews & Good News Beer Series, all in an effort to give back to the community and help support our local nonprofits. The Tide is such a huge and important media outlet for the Williamsburg community, we couldn’t feel more honored that you have expanded to Newport News to form this amazing yearlong partnership with us here at Tradition Brewing Company,” stated Cory Moreno, Event Liaison for TBC. “We are having a blast and can’t wait for everyone to see what we have up our sleeves. This is just the beginning.”
Three more beer releases and future nonprofit collaborations in the Tide Brew & Good News Beer Series are scheduled for October, January and April.
