Restaurant Week With a Twist Coming to The Edge District From April 1-8

WILLIAMSBURG — Maple bacon ice cream? Beer braised carne asada? Donut sausages? Foodies, whet your palates for the inaugural Restaurant Week in The Edge District from April 1-8.

Unlike standard restaurant weeks, The Edge District — where James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg converge — will offer something beyond pre-fixed menus available at discounted prices.

Several of the creative chefs, craft brewers and providers from this trendy foodie destination have partnered together to create daring pairings that celebrate the collaborative spirit of The Edge District. Everyone who enjoys one of the Food SHAREcase creations, or patrons a food or beverage business in the district during the time period can enter to win an Edge District prize package valued at more than $400.

Patrons are encouraged to sample as many as they can for more chances and a true taste of all that the Edge has to offer.

The Edge District is home to Casa Pearl, Antonio’s Ristorante, Second Street Bistro, Colonial Pancake House, Shorty’s Diner, Capitol Pancake House, Moody’s Kitchen, Shoofly Dairy Bar, Cochon on Second, Emily’s Donuts, La Tolteca, Hong Kong, Sal’s Ristorante Italiano, South of the Border and Subway.

On the craft beverage side, epicureans can look forward to what’s on tap from Column 15, Copper Fox Distillery, Virginia Beer Company and 8 Shires.

Established in 2019, The Edge District encompasses food and beverage businesses located along Second Street, Merrimac Trail, Capitol Landing Road and the 143 Corridor. The businesses also include local shops found on the edge of all three localities, which is how the district got its name.
