MIDTOWN ROW — Mezeh Mediterranean Grill has announced that it will open a restaurant at Midtown Row.
The fast casual restaurant chain opened its first location in 2012. Since then, twenty-eight more restaurants have opened throughout Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. The company is opening eleven more restaurants throughout the Mid-Atlantic, including the upcoming Williamsburg location.
“We’re very excited to be opening our first location in Williamsburg,” said the company’s CEO Saleh Mohamadi. “It’s such a friendly place and the college town atmosphere is a great fit for Mezeh.”
The ingredients offered at Mezeh are Mediterranean-inspired and made-from-scratch in-house daily. The dining chain has a concept that offers bowls, flatbread wraps and pita pockets with customizable proteins and toppings, which include: falafel, lamb, chicken and steak shawarma, and hummus.
The Williamsburg location will be on the ground floor Building Four in Midtown Row near Marshall’s. This will mark the fourth location in Hampton Roads, the closest location at Peninsula Town Center in Hampton.
As of right now, there is not a projected opening date. However, the company is aiming for this fall.
