WILLIAMSBURG — Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW) has announced that, for the return of its annual Bier Fest, the park will open a new Biergarten Reserve as well as have over 100 varieties of beer on tap throughout the park.
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from July 30 through September 6, the fan-favorite Bier Fest event will take place the finish out the park’s summer season. This season will introduce a brand-new Biergarten Reserve which will include live entertainment, beer-infused food offerings and specialty brews.
Entertainment will include fireworks on Fridays and Saturdays, beer talks from local craft brewers, and music from performers like Audacity Brass Brand and Kevin MaC.
Additionally, there will be more than 100 varieties of beer on tap throughout the park. Options from local craft brewers such as Alewerks Brewing Company, Billsburg Brewery, and Virginia Beer Company will be available for guests. The park will also have a variety of wines, ciders and non-alcoholic beverages as well.
BGW is introducing beer-infused food offerings during the event which will include Spicy Lager Wings tossed in beer-infused Sriracha, Beer Bang Shrimp tossed in sweet and spicy chili IPA-infused garlic sauce, Beer Cheese Nachos, and Bratwurst Burger Sliders.
The event is free with park admission. Alcoholic beverages are available to guests 21 and over for an additional fee.
