VIRGINIA BEACH — One of the two swimming and wading advisories issued Wednesday for sections of Chic’s Beach has been lifted, the city announced.
A new test of the area near the Lynnhaven Inlet from Starfish Road to Rockbridge Road has returned acceptable bacteria levels.
However, the area from the end of the 5000 block of Ocean View Avenue to Mortons Road is still under advisory. New test results for this area, which is east of Little Creek Amphibious Base, will be available Friday.
