A female Uber driver told police she was assaulted by a male passenger early Saturday and the passenger had been stabbed, police say.
At 12:07 a.m., Virginia Beach Police responded to a report of a stabbing on the 1600 block of Laskin Road, the police said.
The victim, who drives for the ridesharing service, told police a male passenger had assaulted her and the passenger “had been stabbed,” according to VBPD.
The passenger, who was seriously injured, was taken to a local hospital.
No charges are pending. The case remains under investigation.
