VIRGINIA BEACH — Police are investigating possible meth-making materials officers found responding to a burglary at the 1100 block of Northvale Drive Sunday at 8:15 a.m., according to a Virginia Beach Police Department news release.
Officers arrested Evan Eugene Reames III, 37, in connection with the burglary. Reames is charged with two counts of breaking and entering with intent to assault, and is being held with no bond status in the Virginia Beach Correctional Facility, according to the release.
The Virginia Beach Fire Department’s Hazardous Materials Team assisted at the scene after possible meth-making materials were found in the home.
The following people were also arrested:
- Kimberly Francis Volkman, 39, of Virginia Beach, charged with possession of a controlled substance and three counts of manufacture, sale, possession of a controlled substance.
- Eric Scott Addison, 40, Virginia Beach, charged with possession of a controlled substance.
- Michael Joseph Hoiness Jr, 45, Chesapeake, charged with possession of a controlled substance, two counts of manufacture, sale, possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy to violate Drug Control Act.
- Shawn Michael Addison, 36, Virginia Beach, charged with possession of a controlled substance, two counts of manufacture, sale, possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy to violate Drug Control Act.
Northvale Drive was closed from the 1100 block to the 1300 block Sunday for precautionary reasons, according to the release.
