Attention wine enthusiasts, bridesmaids and event planners. The Williamsburg Winery has expanded into a new space with you in mind.

The winery, located on a 300-acre farm, has opened a 9,000 square-foot event facility known as Westbury Hall, according to a release from James City County.

The three-level converted warehouse includes a 40-seat private tasting area with a view of the wine cellar. The main floor has a multipurpose area and the upper level offers a conference/meeting room and a private space for bridal parties.

“It became evident that we needed to expand the Winery’s operational space due to increased visitation and a greater interest of guests to learn and experience wines by tasting,” Assistant Vice President of Marketing Michael Kimball said in the release.

Westbury hall is named for a village in southwest England, located just east of Wedmore. On the winery, Westbury Hall is just east of Wedmore Place, a boutique hotel opened in 2007.
