VIRGINIA BEACH — The Southside could see some light snow Thursday, according to National Weather Service Meteorologist Alec Butner.
With rainfall and possible thunderstorms forecast for Wednesday night, light snow could arrive as early as the late morning Thursday. Temperatures could reach 51 degrees and drop to 27 degrees during the day.
Though snow could fall, Butner said the ground will be too warm for the snow to stick.
Temperatures will rise throughout the week, with a high of 63 degrees forecast for Sunday.
