Patricia A. Young, 77, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017. Born in Whitmire, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Wesley A. Woods and Marjorie Ray.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Thomas R. Young; two daughters, Tammy McGaugh of Norfolk, and Kendra Kay Cranor of Idaho; two sons, Kenneth Paul Young of Pennsylvania and Justin Robert Young of Virginia Beach; a brother, Gary R. Woods of North Carolina; and nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1:10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4780 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach. A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the church sanctuary with Bishop David Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
