Dillard Leon Newman, 85, of Shacklefords, passed away Sept. 8, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia M. Newman; a son, Jerry Leon Newman; and a daughter, Gloria Graziano.
Dillard is survived by his daughter, Fayla Chipley of TX; a son, Samuel R. Newman (Kathy) of Shacklefords; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Monday, Sept. 12th at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th St., West Point, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Sunny Slope Cemetery will follow the funeral service.
