Southside communities can help save a life at a blood drive sponsored by Tidewater Community College.
The Sept. 8 blood drive is planned for all four TCC campuses, and blood collected will go toward growing Hampton Roads’ supplies, according to a TCC news release.
Donations will be accepted from the general public between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. via appointment or by walking in.
The blood drive, which will be facilitated by the American Red Cross, is planned in remembrance of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania, the release states.
