A fox hunt this fall has provided for therapeutic horseback riding lessons at Dream Catchers at the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center.
Middleburg Bank sponsored a reception at the annual Opening Meet & Blessing of the Hounds of Princess Anne Hunt on Oct. 25, which signals the start of the 88th season of foxhunting for Princess Anne Hunt.
Thirty-five riders participated in the opening meet at Sherwood Forest Plantation in Charles City County, with the reception raising $1,000 for Dream Catchers.
Mike Maddocks, senior vice president and Williamsburg community executive at Middleburg Bank, said in a release the institution is proud to have sponsored the event for the sixth year.
“It’s a great pleasure for us at Middleburg Bank to support the communities we serve,” he said. “Dream Catchers is incredible in providing life-changing therapeutic riding lessons to hundreds of children and adults in our area and it’s an honor to help them further their mission and support our neighbors.”
