Event: Avalon presents, Light Up the Night: A Festival of Trees

Avalon: A Center For Women and Children welcomes back for the second year a tree lighting event in New Town. The beautifully decorated and unqiue trees will be on display in New Town throughout December to brighten up the holiday season.
Two events will bring light to Avalon and the trees, starting with the Grand Lighting Reception on Dec. 6 at the New Town Art Gallery. The ticketed event is from 6 to 8 p.m. and will offer refreshments, live music, a raffle and silent auction. The second event on Dec. 13 is free and open to the public in the green space next to the gazebo. It will feature local entertainers who will provide live holiday music from 1 to 3 p.m.
