Williamsburg Fall Arts programming comes to a close this weekend, concluding the first season of creative activities under a new name.
Previously known as Arts Month, events stretched for six weeks, including outdoor painting, craft brew tastings and the 46th annual An Occasion for the Arts.
The final week of programs feature fashion, an outdoor wine and jazz festival, and all the chili you can eat.

Virginia Fashion Week
See emerging designers and models when Virginia Fashion Week, started in 2007, comes to the campus of the College of William & Mary.
From 7 to 10 p.m. Friday in the Chesapeake Room of the Sadler Center, there will be a catwalk competition for models, followed by an emerging designer competitions. Live musical performances will break of the parade of garments, ranging from children’s to swimwear to bridal.
Fashion returns Saturday with an opening style lounge, complete with beauty bar, musical guests and pop-up shops. The lounge is open from 5 to 7 p.m., with shows running until 10 p.m.

Williamsburg Jazz & Wine Festival
With three days of music and libations, the Williamsburg Jazz & Wine Festival returns for its third year this weekend.
This year’s theme is “Taste The Groove,” with regional performers, select wineries and food.
WJW starts Friday in conjunction with Virginia Fashion Week, at the Sadler Center event from 7 to 10 p.m. VIP tickets include reserved seating and a wine reception before the show.
On Saturday the festival will spread out at William & Mary’s Lake Matoaka Amphitheater. The outdoor performances will be paired with art exhibits, food and wine, running from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Closing out the festival will be a jazz brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at The Trellis, Blue Talon Bistro and DoG Street Pub.
Throughout the weekend, festival-goers can receive discounted tours of the Williamsburg Winery by showing their tickets.

Williamsburg Winery 2012 Adagio Release Party
Guests are encouraged to wear black and red cocktail attire for the party commemorating the debut of the Williamsburg Winery’s 2012 Adagio, a blend of equal parts Malbec and Petit Verdot.
The soiree will include a red carpet, ballet performances and a string trio. Guests can sip a range of vintages of Adagio while nibbling on paired small plates prepared by Wessex Hundred Executive Chef Ika Zaken.

Meet the Artists at Quirks of Art
Two of Quirks of Art’s newest creators will be at the High Street shop from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. David Gildersleeve from Savannah, Ga. and William & Mary graduate Mo Crone will show their work, take custom orders and sign pieces.
Chalk Run Revisited
The Chalkapalooza 5k race was originally scheduled for September but delayed due to rainy weather. The colorful race starts at 8 a.m. at Legacy Hall in New Town.

Other ongoing arts events continue through the weekend, including:
- Candlelight concerts at Bruton Parish Church, featuring Polish organist Jakub Kwintel on Thursday and a musical celebration for the church’s 300th anniversary year, featuring singers and instrumentalists, on Saturday. Both programs start at 8 p.m.
- 2nd Sundays art and music festival, sponsored by Blue Talon Bistro, runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday on Prince George Street
- The annual Fall Festival comes Yorktown Market Days from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Riverwalk Landing, with local artists showing, a children’s hay maze, pumpkin patch, chef’s demonstrations and live music
