The Heritage Humane Society is once again hosting its popular “Puttin’ on the Dog Fashion Show and Luncheon” to raise money for the Williamsburg nonprofit.

Doncaster will present fall and holiday fashions in the 14th annual fashion show Oct. 17 at the Fort Magruder Hotel and Conference Center. The show will also feature fashion history, with an exhibit of Doncaster clothing from the past 20 years.

Be prepared to end the day wanting to hug your pet a little tighter, as the event will conclude with “heartwarming pet stories” from the Heritage Human Society.

Guests will also be able to enjoy boutique, silent auction and raffle items. Williamsburg Fine Art has donated artwork to be featured among other pieces in the silent auction.

The champagne reception begins at 11 a.m., the luncheon — prepared by Executive Chef Brent Sprott — begins at noon and the fashion show follows afterward.

The fashion show sells out each year, so be sure to reserve tickets soon. Reservations are $45 per person and can be made here.
