Iron-Bound Gym is hosting a pool zumbathon on Saturday to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association.
The Aqua Zumbathon will take place from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the community pool in New Town. Zumba, a dance fitness program with aerobic routines performed to mainly Latin-American music, has become a super popular workout – at this event, though, you’ll be doing it in the pool as an added twist.
Funds raised will go to the local branch of the Alzheimer’s Association, a nonprofit that provides support and care for all the folks affected by this illness and supports Alzheimer’s research to help find better treatment or a cure.
