Proximo Marketing Strategies, a local marketing firm, will be offering free services to area nonprofits in October as part of a national 24-hour marketing marathon for charities.
Riggs Partners came up with the idea of the CreateAthon, a 24-hour marketing marathon during which advertising, public relations and other marketing firms offer free marketing strategies and other services for local nonprofits. Proximo Marketing Strategies will be participating during the week of October 20 through 26.
Proximo will is accepting applications from local charities and will select a minimum of five clients. “Deliverables produced during the blitz may include strategic development and creative work that may span all aspects of traditional and digital marketing, such as identity development, collateral, out-of-home, web development, inbound marketing, email marketing, public relations,” and more, according to a press release from the company.
Nonprofits interested in completing an application can visit Proximo’s website at www.ProximoMarketing.com or download a copy to submit in person or by standard mail. The deadline to apply is July 31.
Since CreatAthon launched in 1998, 80 agencies have participated, holding CreateAthon events in their respective markets. It’s an effort that has impacted more than 1,275 non-profit organizations, delivering 3,000 projects valued at more than $15 million.
