The Farley Center at Williamsburg Place is hosting two events this month: an alumni reunion and a professional lecture.
The Center is hosting a Spring alumni reunion on April 12 and 13 at the Williamsburg Place campus.
Alumni of the Center’s addiction treatment program and their families will have a chance to share stories, participate in 12-step programs, have some small group sessions with Williamsburg Place therapists and hear various speakers.

The Center is also hosting a talk on Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) as part of its professional lecture series from 9 to 11 a.m. April 26 in the Pavilion at Williamsburg Place dining hall.
MBRP helps bring awareness to people suffering from addiction by creating increased awareness of triggers, destructive habitual patterns and automatic reactions. The lecture will offer an introduction to MBRP and its principles, and offer participants useful techniques and exercises.
The event will be led by Holly Cook, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Service Provider with more than 25 years of experience providing therapy. She is currently the executive director of the Integrative Life Center, an outpatient treatment program for people coping with addiction, eating disorders and trauma-related disorders.
