The Junior Woman’s Club of Williamsburg is offering two $1,000 scholarships for community service; the application deadline is March 22.
These scholarships are available to all qualified high school seniors who are residents of Williamsburg, James City County, or the Bruton District of York County. Completed applications must be postmarked by Friday, March 22, to be considered.
Selected applicants will be contacted to interview before a panel of judges on the evening of Tuesday, April 9.
The Junior Woman’s Club of Williamsburg, established in 1954, gives women an opportunity to become more involved in the community. The group supports a variety of not-for-profit organizations through financial and volunteer assistance.
