This Century Art Gallery is hosting its Weekend Gallery starting Friday.
The Weekend Galleries feature local artists working with various mediums. Visitors will get a chance to meet the artists at the opening reception Friday night. Special musical guest LONDON will play during the Saturday gallery.
February Weekend local artists include Elaine Abbott (paintings), Juliet Kirby (botanical paintings), Mary Montague Sikes (pastel drawings), Devon Rawson (creative boxes) and Jason Hillegas (jewelry).
The Weekend Gallery will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, and from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Art Education Center at 110 Westover Ave.
Weekend Galleries featuring local artists will also be held Feb. 8 and 9, and also on select dates in June, September and November. For more information on participating as an artist or volunteer, contact [email protected].
