W&M Men’s Gymnastics Posts Season-High Score in Win at Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The William & Mary men’s gymnastics team posted its best score of the 2025 campaign en route to earning a convincing 313.5-307.2 victory at Springfield on Sunday afternoon.

Evan Wilkins highlighted the Tribe’s individual performances by winning titles on floor (14.2) and rings (13.75). While both scores were career highs, his effort on floor tied for 10th in school history and is the fourth-best score in the event nationally this season.

Connor Barrow also posted one of the country’s top scores this season, as he won vault with a career-high 14.5, which is the third-best score in the event nationally this year and ranks tied for eighth in school history. The Houston, Texas native also placed third on vault with a career-best 13.75.

Luke Tully also claimed an event title for W&M, as he won high bar with a 13.3.

Mark Fu notched a pair of top-three performances and placed second on rings with a career-high 13.2 and third on parallel bars with a career-best 12.9.

Zachary Patrick (13.0) and Ricky Pizem (13.15) placed second on parallel bars and high bar, respectively.

Jared Noyman and Gavin Zborowski also recorded top-three finishes, as Noyman tallied a career-high 12.8 on pommel horse and Zborowski totaled a career-best 13.1 on rings.

In addition to earning its best team total of the season, W&M defeated Springfield in four events and registered season highs on floor (54.25), pommel horse (49.85), rings (53.0) and vault (55.4).

W&M will return to action when Zachary Patrick competes on parallel bars at the USA Gymnastics Winter Cup in Louisville, Ky., on Feb. 21-23. The Tribe’s next dual meet will be at Simpson on March 2.
