WILLIAMSBURG — William & Mary head men’s tennis coach Jeff Kader announced the Tribe’s 2024 fall schedule on Monday. The ledger comprises 10 events, including four ITA competitions that serve as qualification for the NCAA Individual Championships in Waco, Texas, Nov. 19-24, and a home tournament in November.
The Tribe’s lone home event will be the W&M UTR Tournament, Nov. 1-3. It marks the second-straight season that the program will host a UTR event in Williamsburg during the fall. The Universal Tennis College Circuits is a series of open, tiered prize money tournaments hosted by college campuses. These events attract top players across the country and provide college players, adults, and high-level junior players chances to play competitive matches and improve their UTR Rating.
Outside of the ITA events, the Tribe will take part in four tournaments away from Williamsburg over four-straight weeks in September and October. W&M opens the fall season at the Seahawk Invitational, Sept. 13-15, for the second consecutive season.
The Tribe returns to the state of Virginia for four-straight events, beginning with the ODU UTR Tournament, Sept. 20-22. Last season, the Green and Gold traveled to compete in the NYCC College Tennis Invitational in Norfolk. W&M takes part in the Liberty Invitational the following weekend, Sept. 27-29, in Lynchburg.
