RICHMOND — After helping lead the William & Mary (W&M) football team to a 40-14 victory against Towson, freshman quarterback Darius Wilson was selected as the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Week.

The award marks the second time this season Wilson has garnered a weekly accolade from the conference, as he was chosen as the offensive player of the week following W&M’s victory at Elon.

Wilson accounted for 212 total yards in the Tribe’s win versus the Tigers, as he completed 7 of 12 passes for 164 yards with a touchdown and rushed for 48 yards on six carries.
