WILLIAMBURG – William & Mary women’s soccer seniors Erin Dailey and Lauren Kelly were both named to the All-CAA Second Team, the league announced on Thursday.
Dailey earned the first All-CAA honor of her career, while Kelly earned her second after being a third team choice in 2018. The duo is the fifth and sixth All-CAA selections under head coach Julie Shackford ’88.
Dailey earned a spot on the second team after leading the Tribe with three points on a goal and an assist during the 2021 spring season. She started five matches and totaled 350 minutes in the midfield. Dailey earned CAA Player of the Week honors on April 5 after recording her first career game with a goal and an assist in the Tribe’s 2-2 draw at James Madison. Over her career, the Wall, N.J., native started 50 of her 59 appearances for the Green and Gold.
In earning her second All-CAA award, Kelly moved up to the All-CAA Second Team as a defender during her final season. The Ashburn, Va., native played a team-high 506 minutes during the spring season, starting all six matches at the center back position. In total, Kelly started 59 of her 60 career appearances for the Tribe along the backline.
