Jamestown H.S. boys and girls cross country run out on top

JAMES CITY COUNTY — The Jamestown High School Boys and Girls Cross Country teams have run out on top.

The girls were the 4A Region Champions for Cross Country.  Sisters Caroline Bauer (eleventh grade) and Claire Bauer (ninth grade) were Region Champion and Region runner up.  Karina Long also qualified for All Region after finishing sixth. The Girls Cross Country Team has qualified for five consecutive state meets.

The boys were 4A Region Runner up for Cross Country.  Luke Tompkins placed All Region for the team by placing 6th. The boys team has now qualified for sixteen consecutive state meets.
