Hampton Roads Academy senior basketball player Bryan Hart has committed to play for Division II Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tenn.
Hart, who played point guard for the Navigators, averaged 21.1 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game, 5 assists per game and 3 steals per game during his senior year.
A team captain, Hart helped lead HRA to an undefeated record in conference play during the regular season and the quarterfinals of the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association state tournament.
For his efforts, Hart was named Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools Player of the Year and earned first-team All-State honors.
“I am extremely proud of all that Bryan has accomplished,” said HRA boys basketball coach Chris Fuhrmann. “I am excited to see him fulfill his dreams of playing college basketball, and I know he will be successful.”
