After being delayed a day because of weather, Jamestown was able to claim the Conference 18 championship Saturday with a 5-0 win over Grafton.

Saturday’s match was reminiscent of last Monday’s match between the Eagles and Clippers, which also resulted in a 5-0 Jamestown victory.

While the Eagles did not put together any 6-0, 6-0 match victories, they were able to dominate Grafton through all five completed singles matches.

The only match of the day not completed came at No. 1 singles, where Jamestown’s Grayson DeBerry led Zeke Tal 6-1, 3-0.

Jamestown (13-2) and Grafton (10-3) both will advance to next week’s Group 4A East tournament.
