Jamestown coasted past Grafton 5-0 at home Monday afternoon during an unofficial Bay Rivers District match.
Because of weather, the official Bay Rivers District regular-season schedule was cut from nine matches to seven matches.
With both teams undefeated in Bay Rivers play, Jamestown and Grafton were deemed co-champions. The championship marks Jamestown’s 10th consecutive Bay Rivers title.
Monday’s match between the Eagles and Clippers was instead to help decide seeding for the Conference 18 tournament.
Despite not being considered an official Bay Rivers match, the Eagles kept with their recent Bay Rivers form and cruised past Grafton without needing to play doubles.
Jamestown (11-2) and Grafton (9-2) will now await their opponents for the upcoming Conference 18 tournament.
