Tabb’s field hockey team overcame a slow first half to defeat Warhill on the road 5-0 Tuesday.

The Tigers got on the board early in the first half thanks to Miya Denison, who scored roughly six minutes into the game off an assist from Hannah Robinson.

Despite controlling the pace of play on offense, the Tigers were unable to build on their lead before halftime.

Tabb found its groove in the second half, as Denison got on the board a second time. Less than five minutes into the second half, Denison scored off an assist from Courtney Fiest.

The final three goals were scored by Alexis Gore, who logged a hat trick in the second half. Gore’s first and third goals were unassisted, while her second goal was assisted by Cassidy Clark.

Tabb (11-1) has won seven consecutive games and will play its final regular season game at home against Poquoson on Monday.
