Jeff Wolons scored the game winner with an unassisted goal in the 70th minute as Jamestown’s boys soccer team edged Smithfield 1-0 in a 4A Conference 19 semifinal held at Wanner Stadium Friday night.
The Eagles (10-1-3), who booked themselves a spot in next week’s 4A South Region tournament with the win, will play Bay Rivers District foe Grafton in today’s tournament championship at 7 p.m at Bailey Field.
The winner will earn a first-round home game in next week’s region tournament.
