Kent Klyman struck out 10 batters and yielded no runs over five innings to lead Jamestown past Tabb in both teams’ regular-season finale, 7-1, in a matchup of two teams who could meet in next week’s 4A Conference 19 tournament.
Sean Hughes, who belted a home run and drove in three RBI, and Evan Lowery both went 3-3 at the plate to lead the Eagles offense, which broke the game open with a pair of runs in both the first and second innings.
Brandon Ferebee and Robbie Barrett each batted 2-4 to pace the Tigers.
