Devonte Dedmon poured in a game-high 39 points to push his season average near 30 per game as Warhill held off Lafayette 79-71 on the road Wednesday night. The Lions improved to 4-6 with the win.
Tabb 57 Jamestown 40
Rob Sebastien scored 20 points and Terrell Sheffey added 13 as Tabb jumped out to a 20-8 lead after one quarter and held on to beat Jamestown, 57-40, on the road Wednesday. The Tigers, winners of five out of their last six games, improved to 7-3 (5-2 BRD) with the win. Jamestown fell to 2-6 in district play.
Smithfield 76 York 54
York lost its third straight game, 76-54, at home against Smithfield on Wednesday night, despite Joe Riddick (13 points), Jack Nanartowich (12 points) and Jaylen Riggsbee (11 points) all scoring in double figures.
Grafton 65 Poquoson 27
Joey Miller led the way with 14 points, Isaiah Moore added 13 and Preston Kiedinger chipped in with 10 as Grafton overcame a sluggish first quarter to outscore Poquoson 57-21 the rest of the way and win 65-27. The Clippers (9-2, 7-1) play at Tabb on Friday.

Xavier Green scored 14 points and Mark Seaman added 12 as WCA lost at home 73-52 to Cape Henry Collegiate.

Charnissa Chillers led all scorers with 21 points to go along with five assists and three steals as WCA improved to 17-0 with a 65-30 rout of Cape Henry on Wednesday night. Stephanie Seaman added 15 points, and Tonika Pierce and Quazia Jones each finished with nine for the Eagles.
