VIRGINIA BEACH — In a city that sits right at sea level, it can be challenging to find residences at high altitudes, or with views of anything other than the coast.

Virginia Beach is also an area with a suburban atmosphere, so a home that offers the feel of typical city life is uncommon.

For someone who is accustomed to high rises or the convenience of walking for what you need, this condominium in the Westin Hotel is an ideal solution. The building, 4545 Commerce St., is the site of not only an elegant hotel, but also several floors of residential units.

This 4-bedroom, 3-bath unit offers luxurious and modern living spaces. There are two master bedrooms, each featuring its own private balcony and bath. One of the master baths is fitted with a jetted tub and dark marble floors.

The living room, dining room, and kitchen flow seamlessly in an open concept. The rooms are highlighted from every angle by the unobstructed natural light that comes in through the large picture windows.

In the kitchen, updated stainless steel appliances, bright bamboo floors, and sleek granite countertops provide a functional and aesthetically pleasing space. This spacious living area is wonderful for entertaining and really serves as the centerpiece of this home.

Perhaps the most notable feature of this home is its ample Virginia Beach views. To the northeast is a clear vantage of the bay and the Lesner Bridge. Directly east, the oceanfront and boardwalk area are visible. Through the south windows residents enjoy views of the Town Center area and of Mount Trashmore.

Every city convenience is available to residents of the Westin. In addition to garage and street parking, on-site storage and gym, and top level community room access, residents are afforded the opportunity to walk for virtually everything.

There are many quaint shops and restaurants, and for those who really want to shop, stroll over to Pembroke Mall for all that it has to offer. This central location which is 20 minutes from the Oceanfront, Downtown Norfolk, or Chesapeake.”
