WILLIAMSBURG — The Arc of Greater Williamsburg announced Monday that Executive Director Pam McGregor has been awarded the National Conference of Executives Chairperson’s Award at The Arc of the United States’ National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The National Conference of Executives of The Arc is described as a peer membership organization of Executive Directors and management staff across The Arc’s chapter network of over 600 national chapters.
The Chairperson’s Award is presented to one leader each year and was presented by Chair Jean Phelps, CEO of Incompass Human Services, an Arc-affiliated chapter in Massachusetts.
“Pam embodies the very best of The Arc and the NCE — visionary yet grounded, determined yet compassionate, a leader who uplifts others and makes an outsized impact through heart and perseverance,” Phelps said in her introduction.
Phelps also recognized The Arc of Greater Williamsburg’s recent accomplishments under McGregor’s leadership, the organization said, including the recent ongoing capital campaign and purchase of a building in McLaws Circle to house the organization.
“On behalf of The Arc of Greater Williamsburg Board of Directors, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Pam on receiving the 2025 Chairperson’s Award from the National Conference of Executives of The Arc,” said Arc of Greater Williamsburg’s Board President Sue Hassan. “This honor is a testament to her exceptional leadership and her tireless dedication to The Arc. Her perseverance has made a profound impact, and we are proud to serve alongside her in the Arc community.”
